Terms & Conditions of Hire:

It is the full responsibility of the hirer for the security and care of our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired at all times during the hire period.
Party Box Trailers are designed for local hire where any other standard trailer or standard car will go.
The Hirer is not permitted to lend, sub-lease, sell, offer for sale, assign, mortgage or pledge our Party Box trailer/s or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire to any other persons or organisations.
The Hirer must hold a full unrestricted Australian driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
The Hirer must provide a current photo drivers licence and a second form of identification before taking delivery of our Party Box trailer or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire. (Eg: Credit Card, Medicare or Rates Notice.)
By signing this hire agreement the hirer confirms they have a current fully Comprehensive Insurance Policy and current Registration on the towing vehicle before taking delivery of our Party Box trailer, the hirer must also not have been refused Motor Vehicle Insurance.
Our Party Box trailer/s and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire must not be taken outside of Queensland unless permitted with prior arrangement and MUST be noted on the Hire Agreement
Slush machine hire is only available for delivery, this includes when added to our trailer/s as an optional extra, and it is a requirement for a Party Box Trailer Hire agent to set these machines up on site.
To ensure a smooth turnaround of our Party Box trailers and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire it is required that all pickups are on/after 12.30pm and all returns are back no later than 11.00am, additional daily rate charges apply for late returns.
It is the responsibility of the Hirer for all relative costs incurred for the day by day running of the hired trailer/s and/or any other equipment whilst on hire, this includes making sure the trailer is returned in a reasonably clean condition.
Any trailer/s and/or equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire must remain in the care of the hirer at all times.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to pay for any towing charges incurred whilst the Party Box trailer is within the hirers care, this includes but not limited to after an accident or the towing vehicle breaks down.
During the period of hire the Hirer will observe, comply and carry out all legal requirements of all statures, acts, By-laws, ordinances and regulations in force in relation to the operation of the Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired or in relation to the premises or location in which the trailer and/or any other equipment hired is operated.
The Hirer must ensure that at all times the Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired will be towed or used in a safe manner according to any road rules and weather conditions.
The Hirer will be fully liable for any loss or damage incurred whilst towing the Party Box trailer under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
The Hirer agrees at all times to permit Party Box Trailer Hire access to inspect/repair the hired trailer and/or any other equipment hired if the need arises.
The Hirer will indemnify Party Box Trailer Hire, its owners and/or agents against all actions, claims & expenses arising out of the negligent use of the Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire.
The Hirer is fully responsible for paying any infringements incurred during the hire period up to and including prior to the drop off time. Eg: Traffic, Parking, Tolls etc.
Party Box Trailer Hires delivery and pick up charge covers Metro Area's only in which a Party Box Trailer Hire location exists, additional charges will apply for area's outside of our metro region/s.
Gas supply and usage is limited to One (1) bottle supply with the Spit/BBQ hire (by itself) OR two (2) bottles included with a trailer hire, bottles included within the trailer hire will be 1 x full bottle and 1 x part full bottle.

Terms of Payment:

A deposit of 50% is payable at time of booking if the hire charge total is over $150.00, see cancellation policy below regarding refunds.
Any hire under $150.00, full payment at time of booking is required; see cancellation policy below regarding refunds.
Full balance of any outstanding payment for the hire period is required on or before the commencement of hire, additional days will be charged once notified of the hirer’s intention to extend the hire period, see additional information on extension/s of hire below.
Payment can be made by way of Cash, MasterCard, VISA or via Electronic Funds Transfer directly into Party Box Trailer Hires bank account. A 2.5% surcharge to the total hire charge will be added if paying by MasterCard or VISA.
A Security Bond equivalent to the insurance excess is payable on the day of picking up the trailer and/or any other equipment hired. A credit card imprint is acceptable.
Security Bond will be refunded (in part or full) pending an inventory, maintenance and damage check by Party Box Trailer Hire or our agent/s.
Party Box Trailer Hire reserves the right to cancel the Hire Agreement at any given time should the Terms and Conditions of Hire be breached, contravened or information given to Party Box Trailer Hire that gives rise to any concerns over our trailer/s and/or any other equipment hired, the hirer also fully authorises and gives unreserved permission for Party Box Trailer Hire or its agent/s or any other persons/party on our behalf to enter the premises where the trailer and/or any other equipment hired is for collection purposes. Any refund will be forfeited and additional recovery and/or repair costs incurred will be added to the hirers account and will be processed against the hirer’s card imprint.

Damage:

By signing this contract and then taking delivery of our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire, the Hirer has satisfied themself as to the condition of the trailer and/or any other equipment hired as to its suitability for their intended purpose and acknowledges receiving the trailer and/or equipment in good working order as per the condition report on the hire agreement.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring the security of our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired until returned to Party Box Trailer Hire or our agent/s or any other persons appointed for this purpose at the end of the hire period.
Our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired is to be used entirely at the Hirer’s risk and indemnifies Party Box Trailer Hire or our agent/s or any other persons appointed from any claims arising from the misuse or breakdown of the trailer and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire.
The Hirer shall give notice to Party Box Trailer Hire or our agent/s, as soon as possible of any defects or maintenance required during the hire period of the Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire.
In the event of the equipment being damaged by the hirer in any way, Party Box Trailer Hire shall be entitled to make any such necessary repairs and reinstate the trailer and/or any other equipment hired to the condition it was in at the time of delivery to the hirer. This may include full replacement. Any costs incurred by Party Box Trailer Hire (not claimable under insurance) shall be recoverable from the Hirer, this amount may include part or all of the security bond which may be retained, any outstanding amount payable above the amount of the security bond shall be payable by the hirer to Party Box Trailer Hire on demand..
Any damage to the tyre(s) or rims of the Party Box trailer including punctures will become the responsibility of the Hirer to make good.
Our Party Box trailers and/or any other equipment hired must not be altered, modified, or tampered with in any way either internally or externally.
Any items found to be broken, missing, substituted or lost will be deducted from the Hirers Security Bond.
Party Box Trailer Hire, its owners or agents shall not be responsible to the Hirer or any other person/s for damages or compensation for any loss suffered by the Hirer or any other person/s by reason of any late delivery or breakdown of the Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired by Party Box Trailer Hire.

Cancellation Policy:

The hirer will forfeit any deposit paid for cancellation of bookings if within 7 days of hire pickup date. All other monies will be refunded if more than 7 days notice is given of cancellation.

Breakdowns/Accidents:

Party Box Trailer Hire must be advised immediately in the event of a breakdown. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to make sure that our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired is secure at all times. Party Box Trailer Hire, its owners or agents shall not be liable for any expenditure, inconvenience, loss or damage incurred by the Hirer in the event of a breakdown.
In the event of an accident involving our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired from Party Box Trailer Hire, the Hirer must notify Party Box Trailer Hire as soon as practicable.
The Hirer is responsible for making the report to the Police in the event of any accident.
The Hirer is responsible for obtaining the following details of any other persons/vehicles involved: Name, DOB, Address, Phone Numbers, Drivers Licence details of any other drivers involved, the Registration number, Make, Model and Colour of any other vehicles involved, the name and address details of any witnesses present at the time of accident and the Police Officers Name and Station where accident is reported.

Personal Items/Products Stored:

Party Box Trailer Hire takes no responsibility for the Hirer’s personal effects.
The Hirer indemnifies Party Box Trailer Hire, its owners and/or our agent/s from any loss or damage to any product, materials or personal items stored in the Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired by the Hirer.

Vehicle compatibility:

Party Box Trailer Hire reserves the right to refuse hire should (in Party Box Trailer Hires opinion) the Hirer’s vehicle be deemed unsuitable.
All Trailers are fitted with a seven pin round plug. The towing vehicle will require a 7 pin round socket. Alternatively, an adapter can be supplied by Party Box Trailer Hire at no expense, if returned in good condition.

Late Returns:

Party Box trailer/s and/or any other equipment hired not returned by the due time will be charged the additional full daily rate as per our pricing schedule.
Any request for additional days during a hire period will be solely based upon future demand and availability.
If the Hirer does not return our Party Box trailer and/or any other equipment hired within 24 hours of the expiration of the hire period in the contract (or does not notify Party Box Trailer Hire of the delay in return) the trailer and/or any other equipment hired shall be deemed to have been appropriated and will be reported to the Police as stolen. Any costs incurred by Party Box Trailer Hire in the recovery and/or repair of the trailer and/or any other equipment hired will be payable by the Hirer.
